Paolo Coruzzi is a distinguished educator and researcher whose diverse cultural interests span archaeology, literature, music, and theatre.

His journey in archaeology commenced during his university years, evolving into a solitary pursuit of research and ultimately a dedicated academic pursuit. After completing his MA at University College London, where he focused primarily on Mesoamerican cultures and Ancient Egypt.

Currently, Paolo recently embarked on a Ph.D. journey at Cardiff University, redirecting his focus towards the origins of Christianity and the transformation and diffusion of hypogeum and rock-cut tombs across the Christendom.

As the founder of the Sacred Archaeology website, he endeavours to forge a connection between academia and individuals intrigued by the past. Through visual narratives enriched by his personal experiences and academic studies, Paolo aims to guide enthusiasts on an immersive journey through history.
